The stop ecop campaign has targeted roughly two dozen insurers, and about a dozen have confirmed that they will not get involved with the project. At least one major insurance company has signed on to support the project in may. Omar grew up in kanya but he says that once he found out about what was happening in ugonda with the oil pipe line, he decided he wanted to help people there fight against the production of this thing.
