The Problem With Modern Religious Artists
Fiz: I've created images which absolutely never existed before in the church. It's like a poetic reformulation of something you already participated in, right? And so priests started wearing crosses with this image on it. But no one ever said anything, it was totally fine. Fiz: You can access that, you can have access to those experiences where you all of a sudden feel transported into that space. So as soon as it expresses itself, when you, when you talk about it, or when it comes back down into your art, it actually will inhabit this kind of symbolic world.
