graham rice is a garden writer perhaps best known for editing the r h s encyclopaedia of pare s. He's here to tell us about a plant that is linked with winter romance, mistletoe. The species of mistletoe we have in this country is called viscum album. It has small green leaves, and it photo synthesizes like all other green leave plants too. If you want to grow mistletoe in your own garden at home, it's quite simple really. All you need to do is take some of the berries and just kind of smear them on to the branchs of appropriate trees.
