I always thought comedy was a meritocracy, but I now kind of realize it's not. You got to be sadly, you got to be rich to get into comedy and live in central Auckland or Wellington realistically. It's interesting that like, every famous comedian in New Zealand, like all of our biggest comedians are moldy. Yet there's so few moldy comedians out there now who are successful. That is what one of things New Zealand today brings out islike that comedy is everywhere in New Zealand,. But it's just, it's not easy to get to central Auckland and like give up your career and his job and stuff to live the life of a clown.
