The Future of Bugs
A new system designed by a team at Japan's Tohoku University is using bugs to mimic human hands when building robots. The team 3D printed small seeds, not even kidding,. Four of these bugs to sit on the end of a robot's manipulator arm. Then had the wood lice and the chitons pick up tufts of cotton and submerged corks. And they didn't have terrible results.
