The Importance of Overdelivering on Validation

The amount of inherent trust with a remote client is lower because they probably didn't come from somebody you know who worked with you. Even if they've already paid you and signed up, they are going to second guess if it was a good decision or not until the moment that you prove to them. In person, much of their trust is built in. You still have to earn it. It's just easier. There's way more of a margin of error working with someone in person in my opinion.
