Integrating Over Energy Is Like a Cue
The differentials of the energy that you're integrating or actively works like a volume. The differential is just a, it's just a variable at the end of the day. So it doesn't matter what it represents. Think about it this way though. If you integrate over energy, you're basically integrating over a volume.
