Living Myth
The Scattered Congregation
To visit our thought you live well and therefore the slum must be inside you somewhere. The path we want to find is the plot line from inside ourselves unfolding into the world but following that path requires that we transform not simply ask that others do it or lament that no one is doing it for us. In a poem by Tomas Transtroma called The Scattered Congregation, he says in order to find ourselves we have to become lost. It's this kind of loss that leads us back to the river of life back to the strings of the mandolin hidden in the heartBack to the promise of a meaningful life that was embedded in our hearts before we came to life.
