How to Use Exfoliating Acids to Keep Your Skin Healthy
Some experts on the show are just against all types of exfoliation, anything that would break down the skin barrier a little bit. Vitamin C not being acid, just an active that could mess it more. It's an active that's got a low pH, so it acts actually acidic because that's going to actually burn your face. So you use your glycolic as in a cleanser instead of a liquid. Maybe if you're like someone sensitive, that's a little bit gentler of a version.
