The Resilience of the UK Brick Industry
There is or there has been for quite a long time a deficit in UK brick making that demanders outstrips apply. Last year, the market sold was like 2.5 billion bricks and there were 500 million imports. And those imports were 20% was the highest level they'd ever been. But when we spoke to brick ability, the Chairman John Richards was saying that it's slightly more defensive than people might think.
