The DEF CON hacker conference had its first ever quantum village at DEF CON 30. The general consensus was due to the threat of these harvest now decrypt later attacks. There's a lot of concern particularly if you think that we may have quantum computers 10 years from now, and you're sharing data with a declassified date of 25 years.
