I wonder if so many of the books you love, especially these literary novels that feel like both work and like treats to you, really embody a quest to understand human nature. And when you do do it well, often it's invisible o the reader, just how how much you've accomplished, because it goes down so easy. Yes, i really notice your use of the word, grappling, why do we do what we do? I think you like books that ask that wy question.
