GitLab has been compared to GitHub or Bitbucket. The company is trying to be the best place for software developers to collaborate. It's shipping an online IDE, where on any repo you can start a terminal with everything set up. And another thing, like Google Docs, we also use it extensively and I would really love if the description field of issues was a real time document.
