Do Young People See Theirself as Taiwanese?
In the past few years, over 60% of the population now directly identified themselves only as Taiwanese. The overwhelming feeling is people do not want to have a war. Young men are obliged to join the army for a year because of a conscription system. They realize this is more important than just save your life and run away.
