A Book That Lasts and Is Important
There is a way in which this book is absolutely universal to human experience. And there is another way in which it, of course, is limited and andated. It's written by a french, white guy in rarefied circumstances who had an idea of a house that only in house and garden photographs do weh the idea of a House. I think about when i in my dry north american condeminium, look at people who are drenched and wet, soaked to the skin, homeless, moving from place to place.
