C chairman garry gensler has been itching to go after these crypto projects in the name of investor protection. The only thing stopping him is resources and the authority to use those resources. Tether will likely be the first issuer to get a knock on the door. And i could see the s c demanding that circle and pack soss freeze any tokens in wallets without k y c, or else be subject to enormous ins. But i have a feeling that no stable coin issuers will be safe once the s c c goes hunting.
