The three-factor model was a response to the data, basically. It's what we call an empirical asset pricing model. Those were factors that were screaming at us from the data,. And we put them in there and got a lot of credit for it, but it really was kind of an obvious thing to do. There is no behavioral asset pricing model that can be tested front to back.
