Climate Change - Why Factory Farming Needs to End

Food contributes about a third of the greenhouse gas emissions that we see as a society. The livestock sector alone globally contributes more greenhouse gas emissions than the direct contributions of all the world's planes, trains and cars put together. That is why factory farming needs to end. On factory farms, farmed animals are caged, crammed and confined, and kept in conditions that can be described as utter deprivation for their entire lives. It's no way to treat living, breathing sentient creatures that can feel pain and suffer.
