I think it almost feels as though austin was not afraid to have characters that you didn't like sometimes, that were cringy almost at times. And we just don't see that as much to day. Since she balances that line really well with covet, i keep returning to these heroines of austen because i'm like, they madder. They kept things going when, you know, everything whac was kind of, was kind of going to ship and they kept it together. I would like to see more complicated women, a more sort of, you know,. airquotes, difficult women, because that's such a charged word, anyway.
