Ministering

The church has coopted the word ministering for a programme now. 'It made me really mad, because i feel like ministering is really a word that kind of gets at the heart of our baptismal covenant,' she says. The interesting thing to watch, since this change occurred from this pivot from visiting, teaching, home teaching, to ministering, is that i've watched members struggle with it and have struggled with it myself. They're like, what are we supposed to be doing? Am i doing it? You know, i don't know what's required of me'
