SIBO's Intraday Periodic Auction Design
SIBO has actually gotten approval to implement some version of intraday periodic auctions. It's got a lot of design similarities with what we wrote about in our paper. The thing I worry about with the SIBO proposal or SIBO auction design is the same concern about batch auction designs that are currently up and running in Europe. They're essentially designed to run alongside the continuous market where the continuous market does all the price discovery.
