I think the way go did interfaces is actually brilliant. It allows you to do a lot of stuff in code that you otherwise wouldn't be able to do. I know Scala has a similar thing, but Scala is like a kitchen sink language and that it has everything thrown into it. So there are like a million ways to program Scala. You can program Scala exactly like you do Java.
