The sun was coming over the horizon. The goblins all scattered and disappeared back into the door on the hill. Craft laid there miserably for a time until finally the rest of the village saw him tied up. All he got for his troubles was nothing but a hundred little pokes and bruises from all the pinching. Still, you can be sure that the greedy old man was less greedy after that,. He never again, in all his years, tried to steal from fairies or their friends.
