The Juggler of God

Chesterton points out Saint Francis' character through these first few chapters and he's this big magnetic, extravagant kind of character that really stands out. And after he becomes this mendicant, he's completely changed and yet he's still the same. So it's just a beautiful example of how God can use what you have and he doesn't want to just crush you and make you different. He's trying to use you properly and help you to employ your gifts properly.
