The Redemptive Planned Thing

The story beats that have been established tell us that jesus and the father are on the same page. But then we get to chapter 26, where we're dealing with the theme of jes abandonment. And god, the father, does not give a positive answer to this prayer. Was jesus out on the plan here? I don't think so. He's been saying it the whole time. The level of rejection is something even those who've gone through dark things can relate to.
