Algaran's One Point O - Governance Demo
Any algo holder can become a governor, and there is no min amount of algo you need to commit. Committed algo tokens are not locked, so you can still cash out in case of emergency. Governing periods last for one quarter a t three months, and you can apply to become a governor again at the end of the governing period. To earn governments rewards, you must keep the amount of alo you committed in your wallet for the entire three month period. Government wards range from six to 30 % per year, depending on how much of algopi's supply is being committed as well as how often you participate in voting.
