Anorata's War With the Monks
King Anorata brought a new branch of Buddhism to his kingdom. He saw it as an opportunity to weaken the hold of the Ari monks. The king chipped away at the monk's power with every tool at his disposal. To celebrate, he sent an envoy to Sri Lanka for their most precious relic. They refused but remembered they had a spare tooth and gave it to him.
