The New Republic of Sonora

By January of 1854, William Walker's army had expanded to 300 men. He celebrated this by declaring yet another name change to his new country. The Republic of lower California was now the Republic of Sonora. But things were not going well for Walker. His minutes exceeded in capturing mostly cows for food.
