The most common variation is what's called a v where you've got one person who has two other partners, but those two other partners are not in relationship with each other. You can also have triads, all the angles are connected or anything geometric. Rihte: There's still going to be these similarities that you see to monogamous relationships, but there's also going to be some unique aspects.
