What if There's a Two Way Junction?
Following Christ is following the both end of Christ's nature. It's not pluralism, it's just opening up to realize that maybe the truth is more complex and multifaceted than you initially. In a way, it's a call to humility rather than I've got it nailed down. And so it's it's more saying God can use icons and he can use images in our head. He can use both. They don't have to be one or the other.
