Introduction

Rotten tomatoes is great and awful at the same time, bright because in one way it boils every down to a single number for us. And on the other hand, it's enormously reductive and a stupid way to determine if a movie is a good movie. One of the problems with rotten tomatoes is that a movie that everyone likes will score a really high scork. As if eone gives a movie a six out of ten on raten tomatoes, that would be a hundred percent rotten tomatoe score. If everybody gave the movie a five out of ten, then that is a zero % splat on rotten tomatoes, right? Because it counts the number of critics who gave a thumbs
