The Role of Law Enforcement in Cybersecurity
The FBI has been fairly aggressive in taking action to mitigate botnets going back over a decade now. The Department of Justice has undertaken any number of button that take downs over the past decade. It's often much easier to go after nation state infrastructure that is less resilient against those types of takedown actions than criminal groups who have invented all sorts of sophisticated capabilities.
