The Evolution of Vocal Pitch

Women in positions of power, like presidents or CEOs, often do talk in a lower pitch. Margaret Thatcher is a famous case that actually worked on lowering her voice pitch over time. So I think it's actually both intentional at a certain level and unconscious. We are designing ourselves to be more successful. And part of that is this unconscious move towards a vocal pitch that is more accessible for the professional world.
