The Tree of Politics
A tree is structured in a hierarchical way, much like our systems of ideas from the past. There are clear line of demarcation between the different parts of that tree. In other words, this is a static system with well defined parts that perform specific functions for the whole of the tree. This is where delos's concept of the rhyzome comes into play. A ri zom, in the world of plants, is an extremely chaotic and unpredictable root structure. i think technically, a rhisome is a subterranean plant stem, not a root a but look, now these labels really matter. The point is, look up a picture of one.
