Are You a Good Converter or a Bad Converter?
There's a well-defined gene, but not a well- defined SNP. We don't have the ability to really rule out that you're a bad converter based on any of those SNPs. It's like it's an insurance policy to get the basic requirement of vitamin A from animal foods and then eat all the red, orange, yellow, and green vegetables that you want. Most vegetarians and vegans are three times more likely to have riboflavin deficiency compared to omnivores.
