The alamo was a defeat. It was a terrible, tragic defeat. Every texan inside, every fighter inside, was killed,. Everyone died, including some famous people. And in the texans, what did they do? Well, maybe they cried at the time, but they, they decided they to be proud of the big failure. They knew they had no chance, but they decided to fight to the death instead of surrendering. So they took this big failure, the alamo, and they made it into their battle cry.
