The Dark Gods Depend on Sacrificial Offerings
Gnostic idea that we have some dark gods who demand children, the light or undivided consciousness. This seems to play very much into the Gnostic idea of sacrifice in general. The sacrificial aspect is extremely physical and involves consumption of human flesh. But what this indicates once again has to do with why the hell that they saw intent on sacrificing, especially children.
