I'm curious though about so we also have this desire to gather together in groups and all do it simultaneously, even though it's it's a loss of control. And something that I find really interesting is people lose their individuation when they are in that large group. The philosopher George Bataille talks about the secret channels of communication that are opened up through laughter or excitement. We become almost like animals and our bonding is animalistic because it's unconscious and it's happening bodily, not rationally.
