The Pros and Cons of Codifying Abortion
The initiative would codify the right to reproductive choice all out in the state constitution, which they wouldn't do if they weren't very confident that it would pass. Millions upon millions of people in America who when they fill out a survey or when they answer a poll over the phone are asked to classify themselves as pro life and choose. None of these people would receive an endorsement from national right, so-called right to life organizations because they actually believe in there being access to abortion in a lot of different circumstances.
