Consumer software is not the strength of any of these camera companies and they've never had a reason to develop it. It's kind of a chicken and egg problem like the camera makers probably say well people buy our cameras so that they don't need to use them with the phones or whatever. But at the same time it's like maybe that's because using it with a phone sucks so badly like maybe if you made it suck lessyou could expand to the way larger market of people who have phones but want something to take nicer pictures sometimes.
