A fear of mine as I encourage you to take ADHD seriously and really embrace it is that you're going to start to feel sorry for yourself. There's a very fine line between ADHD being an excuse that holds you back or ADHD being an explanation that propels you forward. Don't make your ADHD mean that you get a pass, that you can bow out of obligations, that you don't have to take life seriously. You should swan dive into a pool of support and coaching and medication and supplements where you can really get the help that you need.
