Russian Energy Exports Are Not Targeted by US Sanctions
Chris miller is an assistant professor of international history at the fletcher school of tofsy university. Almost every other sector of the russian economy's been meaningfully hit by the sanctions, but energy as been explicitly excluded from us. And u.u. Sanctions. But it means that these sanctions are far from as strict as they could be - and i think one of the big debates we're going to see over the next couple of months is whether they ought to be tightened further.
