This season on Truece, I'm telling the backstory of Christian fundamentalism. The Scopes Monkey trial came to define Christian fundamentalism and is said to have temporarily killed the movement. In 1925, reporters from all over the United States descended on a small town in Tennessee. It was the first US court case ever broadcast over radio.
