The Best Strategy to Address Resistance to Change
Teachers often resist change because they feel it's been done to them, says John Kotter. A lot of the best strategy for overcoming resistance is done prior to change. He suggests looking at what barriers are in place before embarking on a change process. This could be as simple as marking roles online or finding people who can do it. It may also be that staff don't have the skills and resources to carry out changes.
