The Effects of Knowledge on Learning
Matthew effects means that if you are, if you have knowledge, you'll get more knowledge. But then we also have diminishing returns which is something I kind of theorize rather than read from literature. So as an expert in a field it seems to be true but the first things you learn can give you a massive advantage or gain so much from knowing that small amount. The same with novices who need to start from concrete at first and build up from there.
