#179 – Salvation: Justification

Knowing Faith

CHAPTER

Justification Is a Judicial and a Grateful Act

Justification is legal terminology. Like it's a think of like a court of law. You've been declared wrong. And this is, this is evangelicalism 101. This is probably the primary lens through which we view salvation. It's judicial and that God does not lead us into his kingdom without righteousness. He could hold us through the terms of the law and condemn us. That's what he doesn't want to do. But justification in particular is an idea that we have been declared in the wrong because of our sinfulness,. but because of what Christ has accomplished. We can be declared in the right to be clear, just. Yeah. Boving says it's judicial and gracious.
