The Importance of Marketing in Open Source Projects
I think marketing is the biggest thing. You could have the best technology in the world, but if you don't talk about it, it's not going to get mind share. In my opinion, obviously it has to be a well-supported project and people have to be willing to have some assurance that they've got their company on it. But they have to learn about it first to even get to that point.
