In the 60s and 70s, neoliberalism took over the world. The idea that we need to rip away all those kind of layers of terribleness of the culture puts there and find the perfect core within. It's caught the human potential movement or humanistic psychology. We're in this kind of collective place in the 20th century but it worked for a while. In fact, you know, because you raken over in the UK Margaret Thatcher with a great pioneers of neoliberalism. And she said, oh I really seems to think she is trying to change the soul as well as the money.
