All Maps Have Their Problems, but the Globe Is a Kind of Map

A friend of mine recently got a tattoo of a world map on his forearm. Should i tell him about all the inais and problematic socio cultural viewpoints associated with the mercater projection, or would it be unfair to ruin his forearm for him forever? Shane: I don't think that's really the issue though. The projection just makes countries look the wrong size. But everything else, you could prick git it, like itis, much better than any flat map projection.
