The Latvian Government Is Acting on Feeling That They Should Be More Heavy-Handed Towards Russians
Inflation in Latvia is about 22%. Energy prices are about two or three times depending on which month it is. The cost of living is really getting very high. Latvian's got a long fence plan to be built about 175 kilometres. This is only partly built so they're worried that they're going to have to take various measures before then. There was a reminder that Estonia is training Ukrainian soldiers and the reminding came in an unfortunate way. They were travelling from Tallinn to Riga on a bus chartered by the Estonian army.
